Do you have any thoughts on lusii? After all, symbiosis is definitely A Thing in our world, but for trolls to have developed that relationship with such a variety of species is pretty funky.

So there’s male analogous trolls, female analogous mother grubs, and neuter drones yes? Where do Lusii fit in to all this?

Lusii are sort of a puzzle because they just don’t work as genetic variants of their respective species; there’s no reason for the trait to be preserved across generations and that sort of patchy symbiosis on an individual but not species-wide scale doesn’t make sense to me.

So, in my time of trouble, I turn once more to parasites.
